In its exhibition, Galerie Handwerk would like to present a large, lush bouquet of flowers for visitors to stroll through and enjoy. Transience has been overcome, the virtuosity of nature's imitation can be followed in wonder. International artists and artisans use glass, ceramics, metal, paper, textiles, wax and fashion and jewellery to explore the theme of the flower and create faithful or varied copies of the natural model. The beauty of nature is subjected to the respective aesthetic conception and the will to design, so that a variety of very different approaches can be observed. The guided tour will introduce individual positions and explain the focal points of the exhibition.

With seven annual exhibitions, the Galerie Handwerk gives the Arts & Crafts culture a clear presence in Munich. The themes correspond to the variety of tasks that crafts perform in culture and society: the spectrum ranges from applied arts and crafts to crafts and architecture, crafts in the preservation of monuments, to design training and teaching concepts in crafts. Traditional, classic and avant-garde approaches are presented. The exhibitions at Galerie Handwerk are national and international in scope. It thus makes a significant contribution to communicating and preserving handicraft culture worldwide.
