The infinitely variable and three-dimensional magnification of the stereo magnifier (binocular) makes tiny objects from the plant world, such as the stamens of a flower, large and "tangible". This is how details become visible: unusual flower shapes and their components are then put on paper.
The course is suitable for curious beginners as well as for advanced sketchers. After a short introduction to the use of the binoculars, the participants draw what they have observed in magnification with professional support of instructor Yasumin Lermer, a sketcher at the Munich-Nymphenburg Botanical Garden. In addition, they learn all kinds of interesting facts about the flowers, their inhabitants and pollinators.
Drawing materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own materials (drawing paper, 3B pencil, kneaded eraser, sharpener). Plant and flower material is available. Your own models - blades of grass, flowers, seeds or leaves - are welcome. Registration required!
