Choir matinees with the Saengerkreis Muenchen
The Sunday Matinees are a popular musical highlight to the summer schedule.

Concert & Opera
Botanical Garden Munich-Nymphenburg

For years the Sunday Matinees of Saengerkreis Muenchen have contributed musical accents to the summer schedule of the Botanical Garden. Choirs from the Saengerkreis would perform on the steps to the Schmuckhof to entertain the visitors with choral music.

The Saengerkreis Muenchen represents more than 100 choirs and ensembles with more than 3000 active singers. Their spectrum encompasses music from Renaissance to Jazz and Pop, ensembles from quartet to choirs with more than 100 singers, from dedicated amateurs to highly professional ensembles, thus allowing for multifaceted concert repertoires.

Bright sunshine makes the concerts most attractive, of course. At less favourable weather the choirs can please their audience, many of them regular guests, in a greenhouse. The actual program can also be found on the Botanical Garden’s homepage or on the Website of Saengerkreis München.
