On this circular tour through the largest nature reserve in Bavaria, the participants discover the abundance of flowers in the Ammergau Alps – guided by Dr. Christof Thron. They take the train to Oberammergau and overcome the first 400 meters in altitude with the help of the Kolbensattelbahn. From there they hike across alpine meadows in about 1.5 hours to the Pürschling House. On the way back they cross the romantic Schleifmühl Gorge before boarding the train again in Unterammergau (easy mountain hike, approximately 11 Kilometers, altitude difference 300 up/700 down).
