Nine months of Flower Power in Munich. The compact lecture series "Flowers to go" is the ideal prelude to this year's festival, because flowers are far more than just blooming splendor and have always inspired the worlds of literature, music and art.

The audience will gain insight into the local herbal world, learn how nature is reflected in the songs of Schubert and Schumann, and how Art Nouveau adorned itself florally. The series concludes with an exclusive guided tour of the newly opened exhibition "Flowers forever" at the Hypo Kunsthalle.
