Focus on Nature – Photo competition

Hands-on activity for children
Fancy a photo safari? Children and young people from Bavaria between the ages of 7 and 18 are invited to take part in "Nature in Focus".
until 30.09.2023

Children & Youth, Garden & Park, Workshop
Naturkundemuseum Bayern

Take your camera or smartphone on a journey through Munich's and Bavaria's nature. Submit your best motifs for the annual photo competition and win prizes such as a photo seminar with a professional.

The winning photos, selected by a jury of experts, will then be shown in a special exhibition at the Museum Mensch und Natur and travel throughout Bavaria in other exhibitions. Of course, one category of this year's competition will also revolve around the festival motto "Flower Power Celebrating Nature in the City". All information on how to apply will probably be available on the website of the competition from March.

"Nature im Fokus" is less about technical perfection and more about exciting image compositions, a good eye and above all: creativity! The competition is organised by the Museum Mensch und Natur, BIOTOPIA Naturkundemuseum Bayern and the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.
