The management of the Seidlvilla, together with art historian Susanne Flesche, opens the exhibition "blühe.blühe." and the six artists of the Künstlerkreis Ammersee. Martina B'shary, Isabelle Chretien Brocker, Elke Hack, Marianne Schweigler, Edith Steiner and Eva Zenetti will be present. The Cosmic Guitar Duo accompanies the start with classic jazz and gypsy swing.
The artists are dedicated to flower power – the assertiveness and thrust of flowers, their resilience, their power to constantly return. The artistic positions range from gestural, abstract painting and expressive colors to a reduced, almost monochrome color palette and intuitive drawings. The tracing of the growth and decay of plants, their before, their existence and what was, is carried out by remembering important art-historical models and analogies in mythology. Completely different pictorial objects emerged through the inclusion of prefabricated objects or natural parts of plants in the process of creating art, or through handling the idiosyncratic material wax, which was reshaped and manipulated.
