Flower Power will make the Alter Hof blossom when the City Foundation Festival 2023 is celebrated on the weekend of 17/18 June to mark Munich's 865th birthday. The Old Courtyard will host the action programme for children, young people and families in itself: hands-on workshops and the historical crime play "Mit Speck fängt man Mäuse" (With Bacon You Catch Mice) will be organised by Kultur- und Spielraum e.V.. The Flower Power Festival Munich adds on this colourful offer paper origami flower folding and children's flower make-up as a partner of the Infopoint Museums & Palaces in Bavaria.

During a break in the interior, the Flower Power Festival flags with stereophotographic images of plants as well as origami flowers, sand roses and ceramics decorated with flowers can be examined in glass vitrines. The multimedia exhibition Munichs Imperial Castle can be discovered in the Gothic vaulted hall.
