In the cooperation of Sheila Furlan and Kathrin Knöpfle, visual art, dance and performance meet. In the summer of 2022, the two artists showed the performance "Innerlichkeit" as part of the exhibition "neu gedacht" in Murnau.

Now the two artists have another collaboration in mind. In her dance intervention, Kathrin Knöpfle will enrich Sheila Furlan's exhibition with the dimension of movement and, parallel to the theme of floating spaces, will work with a rising silk balloon containing natural materials.

Kathrin Knöpfle, trained at the School for Dance, Improvisation and Performance in Freiburg, works under various national and international choreographers. She is a permanent member of Anja Gysin's Swiss Dance Company and has expanded her range of work to include acting and movement pedagogy.
