Pollinators are nature's little heroes who ensure biodiversity in the environment. But what if there are fewer and fewer insects? Not only because of the petition for a referendum "Save the Bees", the issue has come more and more into focus in Bavaria in recent years.
The pop-up exhibition in the BIOTOPIA Lab uses the example of bees and other pollinating insects to show the systemic connections in ecosystems. Interactive stations and numerous objects revolve around the seductive interplay between flowers and pollinators - and their importance for our lives on a local and global level.
At the interface of science and art, the exhibition also addresses the question of whether there are alternatives to animal pollination.
A visit to the exhibition can be ideally combined with a visit to the Munich-Nymphenburg Botanical Garden and their exhibition.
