On Friday, 12 May 2023, the exhibition "PORTAL" in halle50 in the DomagkAteliers will open at 7:00 pm with an introduction by Anna Wondraker. Anja Verbeek von Loewis, Sheila Furlan and Fabian Gatermann have created works inspired by the theme of opening and transition. "PORTAL" serves as an entrance into another dimension: passages are created, transition, new perspectives and points of view. Solid structures are also transformed into floral elements in this process. These 'shifting realms' are invitations to engage with the hidden essence behind the surface.
Afterwards, there will be a moment painting performance by Anja Verbeek von Loewis at 21:00, with live painting and live music.
The three artists will occupy the large, light-flooded, eight-metre-high hall until 21 May 2023. The closing event will be the Künstlersonntag on 21 May from 15:00 to 21:00.
