The speakers of the Seerose Petra Herrmann (Literature) and Tobias Krug (Visual Arts) invite to a literary evening in the rooms of the exhibition "Neue Blüten – Nymphaea Agens".

Former Lord Mayor Christian Ude will open up completely new perspectives on the visual arts. During the "Spark Flights", you can experience the free-spirited exchange of ideas between Katinka Schneweis and Sybille Engels on the creation of artistic works. In an artist talk, mural artist Martin Blumöhr will interview the Seerosenpreis-Award winner Sinda Dimroth about her life and work and writer Alma Larsen will read from her books.

Musically, the audience will be accompanied on this journey by the wonderful Barbara Mahr with singing and guitar playing. Afterwards, the guests can enjoy the evening and the exhibition together and celebrate the 75th anniversary.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Cultural Department of the City of Munich and the District Committee 12.

The Munich Seerosenkreis symbolises a not insignificant part of Munich's post-war culture to this day. Since 1948, renowned Munich artists have been coming together for a joint dialogue and organising cross-genre projects and exhibitions. This year, the circle celebrates its 75th anniversary with the exhibition "Neue Blüten - Nympheae Agens".
