At the two-day opening festival of the SüdpART Biennale, the artists will also be present. The visitors can expect a varied program.
The programme on Saturday, July 8 2023:
At 2 p.m. there will be a welcome by Lore Galitz (director of SüdpART), with greetings from Ms. Kristina Frank (Head of Municipal Department and Municipal Forestry Administration) and from David Süß (Honorary City Councillor).
Followed by a short lecture: "The forest after the forest" by Claus-Peter Lieckfeld (science journalist).
At 3 p.m. / 4 p.m. / 5 p.m., Claudia Schleich will tell tree tales for children and adults (about 15 minutes each).
Other program points are at 3 p.m. the forest life with Gertrud Fassnacht and at 4 p.m. the SüdpART guided tour with Lore Galitz.
The programme on Sunday, July 9 2023:
The Sunday begins at 12:00 o'clock with a guided tour with Lore Galitz.
At 2 p.m., visitors can then join Dr Eva Schneider on a hike to the trees in Südpark.
Forest Life with Gertrud Fassnacht follows at 16:00.
