Around 1900, a huge parade ground with numerous barracks stretched across the Oberwiesenfeld. Today, the remnants of the martial past and the legacies of the World War are still clearly visible. The exploration starts at the controversial railroad memorial and leads through today's Bundeswehr grounds. In the southern Olympic Park, the ideas of the "democratic green" of the 1970s are clearly visible. At the top of the Olympic mountain, you can see as far as the Alps.
