This course will help you to clearly identify these woody plants. To do this, the participants will collect and compare leaves, bark and fruits. Many trees have their own cultural history or were used for special purposes. Biologist Dr. Tobias Maier will tell you about sacred trees, medicinal uses and ancient customs.

The Munich Volkshochschule (MVHS) is the largest adult education center in Germany and was founded at the end of the 19th century.
