On Sunday, the focus of the two-day festival is on plants. It starts with a "Wild Brunch" at 10:00 a.m.: The classic brunch of the Community Kitchen will be "wilded" with edible wild plants by foragagedstyle.
For the kids, it starts at 11:00: They will develop their balloon figures creatively and florally with Miss Pitty. Afterwards, at 12:00, they will experience the story from the children's book "The Water Lily Alba" in the Book Worlds.
Which wildflowers are threatened in the city? How can a city promote biodiversity? The Citizens' Initiative Nachhaltig Handeln invites you to its guided tours of the bee-friendly plant trail at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., meeting point: at the raised beds in front of the house.
At the same time, the artists not only show their works, but #fraudietlmalt also invites you to their studio at 12:00, a tempo at 14:00 and finally IMPETUS at 19:00.
Various workshops complement the flower-coloured day and invite you to learn and experience interesting things. These include "Creative Time Out for Women" with Andrea Müller at 12:00, "Let's Bloom" with Karin Baumsteiger at 13:00, the painting course "Flower Dreams with Brushes" with Angela Widholz at 14:00, "Power with Flower – at the Sewing Machine" with Aynur, Renee and Claudia at 14:00 and the "Wild Plant Walk – Eating what grows outside our doors" with Alexandra Dietl at 17:00. There will also be an integrative painting workshop at 14:00.
Details of the programme and, in some cases, the costs for the workshops can be found on Shaere X Flower Power.
