From May 10th, wandering trees will green a section of Dreimühlenstraße between Reifenstuelstraße and Ehrengutstraße for six weeks.
With the project Green City e.V. is promoting a greener, climate-adapted and therefore more livable city and shows how good trees are for public space and how they significantly increase the quality of life of the residents. Especially in the summer months, the house facades and streets heat up so that without greening and the resulting effects such as shadows and better air exchange, the quality of life on streets is severely restricted.
Green City is urgently looking for volunteers to help with the move (about 30 to 40 helpers) as well as casting patrols at the new location in Dreimühlenstraße. Those who would like to support the Wanderbaumallee and lend a hand, should contact: garteln@greencity.de.
