Nowhere else in Munich do folk herbal knowledge and classical mythology meet so directly as in Nymphenburg Palace Park. Under mighty trees the participants will discover not only special medicinal plants and wild herbs, but also numerous allusions to ancient mythical creatures and gods. They will wander through the palace park in the evening, explore special features of the native flora and listen to the stories about the plants in mythology.

The Munich Volkshochschule (MVHS) is the largest adult education center in Germany and was founded at the end of the 19th century. Its program for the state capital of Munich and the municipality of Grünwald in the south of Munich includes around 18,000 courses, lectures, seminars, excursions, exhibitions and cultural events each year, with around 270,000 participants.
