The possibilities to create an individual flower in virtual reality are almost endless. Whether plants made of digital oil or water colours, in neon, with or without "glitter" – there are no limits to your imagination. With the immersive experience, you can immerse yourself in different perspectives and perceive the world differently. The self-designed flower can be seen from all sides and in the room.
The participants design three-dimensional flowers, blossoms and trees with the help of VR glasses and design tools. Together with the contributions of the others, a colourful allotment garden is gradually being created that will also let Munich blossom digitally.
Virtual reality artist Elisabeth "Lizzy" Mayer will lead the workshop. She has been creating virtual worlds and media installations with her work since 2017. As part of her VR workshops, she offers interested people the opportunity to become artistically active with this modern technology themselves.
