In Japanese culture, the cherry blossom is the most important symbol of spring. It means new beginnings. The blossom roofs of the cherry trees are enchanted in white and pink during "hanami," which means "looking at blossoms" in Japanese. In the Japanese garden in Westpark, participants experience this special mood and learn about traditional garden design. In its composition of pond and island, garden for meditation and tea ceremony, it surprises them with alternating views.
