State Coin Collection Munich
This museum offers a singular exhibition of coins, medals, paper money and tokens of all times, from antiquity (Greek, Celtic, Roman) to the Middle Ages and to modern times. Money rules the world, this important aspect is emphasized by the permanent as well as by special exhibitions. The museum holds about 300 000 objects, being one of the largest collections specializing on monetary history.
