Gärtnerplatztheater is a Bavarian state theatre with a unique tradition and profile. For over 150 years it has shaped the cultural scene in Munich. Outstanding new productions in the field of entertaining musical theatre in all its diversity are the central focus. It is the only state theatre in Germany to devote itself to a repertoire including opera, operetta, musical and dance with numerous premiers each year.
