Here in the palace park, the high nobility and courtiers once passed their time hunting pheasants, taking gondola rides accompanied by music, watching tailgating and playing skittles. At the beginning of the 19th century, the park was transformed from a French Baroque garden into an English landscape garden.
The walk gives a comprehensive overview of life in front of and behind the palace: from the palace rondel with the cavaliers' houses to the park with its hidden pleasure palaces and some servants' quarters. The varied nature with its meadows and forests, winding paths and watercourses unfolds its special charm in every season.
