Citizen's Choir

Weekly commun singing in Freiham
Singing in the choir and culture connect and create encounter – Culture creates fertile soil.

Workshop
Genossenschaftsraum Progeno
Bayerische Staatsoper

The focus "Westwind" is the starting point for the work of the workshops. Culture creates encounters between people, between neighbourhoods and between nature, construction site and city in the West. Westwind workshops are a community project of the Bavarian State Opera together with local cultural workers in Freiham and Aubing from April to June 2023. Various worshops are available: Children's Choir, Theater Camp, Street Ballet meets HipHop and Citizen's Choir.

The conclusion of all Westwind workshops is an interactive walking concert from Freiham to Aubing on Thursday, 29.6.23 at 5 p.m., which ends with a joint closing at 6:30 p.m. in front of ubo9. Afterwards, there will be a discussion at 7 p.m. on the topic "Culture creates encounter. The role of cultural education and art for Freiham".

Singing connects, and culture creates encounters: Under this motto, the citizens meet every Monday evening to sing together. At the end, they present the songs they have rehearsed at the walking concert. Raphael Schluesselberg will be in charge of the Cititzen's Choir.
