With pencil, graphite or pastels, the typical shapes and details of various flowers can be playfully and freely captured. Close observation and trust in one's own hand are just as important as knowing the possibilities of the drawing tools. Through varity of the lines and a focused way of "staying in the moment", spontaneous immediate drawings with a lot of character are created. Experimental exercises show the way there.
