Paul Klee loves flowering gardens, Max Ernst paints mysterious wooded areas, Nils Udo works with blossoms and leaves, Joseph Beuys plants 7000 oak trees. The longing for nature and the awareness of its endangerment preoccupies many artists* until nature itself becomes an art object in Landart. With temporary installations and ephemeral materials, the artists point to the sensitivity of our ecosystems and try to encourage responsible action.
