Magical and colourful art by Miguel Chevalier will light up the the shop window of Ludwig Beck at Marienplatz introducing the spring season.
Franco-Mexican pioneer of virtual and digital art Miguel Chevalier displays an image of giant imaginary flowers in Ludwig Beck's shop window. Transformed through a digital process, those flowers were born from germinating digital seeds found in botanical fillings. The result is a lush garden with incredible shapes which takes passerby in a re-invented nature. It feels like being Alice in Wonderland when facing this immense colourful flora.
The image "Extra-Natural" is composed of five unknown flowers in brilliant colours which change their appearance through a dynamic lighting system.
With his artificial paradise the artist introduces nature into urban space and creates a symbiosis between human and nature. At the same time, works by Miguel Chevalier will be on display at the Kunsthalle.
