More than 600 young photographers between the ages of 7 and 18 went on a photo safari in Bavaria's nature and submitted over 1,600 photos. The best pictures can be admired in the special exhibition "Natur im Fokus" in the Museum Mensch und Natur.

In keeping with the festival motto "Celebrating nature in the city", the theme of Category A this time was "Nature just around the corner". The young talents captured the diversity of nature in their immediate surroundings in the city or village. Category B "Nature simply ingenious" revolved around the question: What can we learn from nature? Based on the science of bionics, motifs were requested that show ingenious inventions of nature.

The results are as diverse as nature itself and show a lot of creativity! The competition is organised by the Museum Mensch und Natur, Naturkundemusem Bayern/BIOTOPIA Lab and the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.
