Michael "Gene" Aichner, alias Genelabo, has been setting visual accents for 25 years with unusual projections. The interplay of image, light, video, idea and technology creates impressive visual works.
His large-scale installations cover rooms and buildings with collages and structures of light and change the perception of the room or place. New and exciting projects are created – slide installations, building projections, interactive installations, live concerts & video mappings –, unique and aesthetically staged.
The whole now already over 2000 times – among other things with and for Schlosslichtspiele Karlsruhe, Museum Oberammergau, DOK.film-Festival, BASSart Festival, European Parliament, Münchner Philharmoniker, City of Munich, Burning Man Festival (USA), Istanbul Art Fair and many international tours.
For 16 years, Gene Aichner's projections at Siegestor have accompanied the street festivals on Ludwigstraße and the people are enchanted every time.
