As part of the Flower Power Festival, the Bavarian Palace Department is implementing the "Wildflower Meadows in the Garden Monument" project for more biodiversity. The aim is to promote biodiversity in Munich's English Garden, which is an important refuge for a large number of endangered animal and plant species. In the course of the project, species-poor and partly compacted lawn areas are to be transformed into species-rich, colorful flowering meadows under the aspects of nature, species and monument protection. This contribution will enrich the landscape and at the same time significantly increase the quality of life for people, animals and plants in the garden monument English Garden.
