Cherry blossom is the symbol of spring in Japan. It means beauty and new beginnings. In white and pink the blossom roofs of the cherry trees enchant at the "Hanami", the blossom viewing. The participants will learn more about its  significance in Japanese culture, how it is celebrated and experience this special atmosphere with blossoming trees in the Japanese garden of the Westpark. They will learn about the philosophy of Japanese gardens and their art of guiding the eye in the Pond Island Garden, Meditation Garden and Tea Ceremony Garden.
