On an exploration in the garden the great variety of fragrant kitchen herbs and edible flowers can be discovered. In a herb quiz the participants learn to distinguish thyme, hyssop, lovage & Co. and learn why they are useful and valuable not only as a spice but also against colds. Finally, the aromatic herbs of summer are preserved in vinegar. Thereby each participant chooses her or his personal herb mixture according to the own preferences! To top it off, there will be tips on harvest time, preservation methods, and other uses.
